CHAPMAN BASKETBALL ACADEMY ESTABLISHED 2017

In 2017 Joe Chapman retired from his professional career in Europe, CBA was created not only because of the love of the game, but also understanding the important role youth sports plays in shaping young athletes into better people.

From growing up in one of the most poverty stricken areas in Chicago Joe found a home and structure while participating on youth basketball teams. During his time at Marquette he learned selflessness, leadership, how to be competitor and resilience. His time he spent overseas playing professionally opened his eyes and mind to different cultures- he faced adversity and learned to adapt to his surroundings. These important life lessons are the pillars behind Chapman Basketball Academy and what we strive to teach our CBA athletes through the game we love.

In 2017 Chapman Basketball started with 5 teams, we are now one of the biggest organizations in the midwest. Working under 3 divisions, CBA has 78 teams, and roughly 800 athletes.
